Why Yoga on a Yacht?

Disconnect to connect...

Since “Yoga on Yacht” has grown popular, many people ask me: “Why yoga on a yacht?”

My simple answer: Dubai is about luxury—and what could be more luxurious than being on the water and practicing yoga?

But there’s a deeper meaning to it. When you sail away from the shore, you leave behind the city, the people, and the chaos. Surrounded only by water, you feel truly disconnected—giving yourself the gift of pause. That space creates room to reflect, to think deeper, and to simply be.

Even though the yacht can hold 50 people, I limit the practice to just 10 participants. It’s not about filling the boat—it’s about giving each person the gift of "present", the chance to enjoy their own “me time.” That’s what yoga is all about.

And yet, there’s also connection. You share food, laughter, and conversations with new people. You experience poses differently on water—the gentle wobbles play with your balance, reminding you how unique the practice becomes away from land. What feels familiar transforms into something new and deeply mindful.

So, whether you come for the glamour, the “me time,” or the connections—you’ll leave with breathtaking views, a deeper awareness, and a refreshed mindset.

Practicing yoga on a yacht was a truly amazing experience.

The space was well-prepared, with yoga mats provided and enough room to stretch comfortably. The instructor guided us smoothly through a mix of gentle stretches and mindful breathing, making it suitable for all levels.

Ending the session with a short meditation and sound bath was the best part.

Highly recommended for families, couples, groups or solo travelers seeking calm and connection.
